ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday has presented rigging evidence of as many as 74 constituencies before the Judicial Commission which was made to probe 2013 election rigging, Dunya News reported.
A meeting, headed by Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, was held in Islamabad during which PTI submitted rigging record including newspaper cuttings, interviews and nine videos upon which Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) counsel Shahid Hamid demanded a copy of the evidence.
CJ remarked that everyone has right to ask questions from the other party as far as the rigging is concerned. He said that PML-N has full right to challenge the evidence and directed the PML-N counsels to submit formal petition over their reservations regarding rigging material.
The opposition leader in NA-167 Ishaq was also presented as a witness before the apex JC over which the PML-N counsel urged to drop this constituency as its results were also challenged in election tribunal.
