Defamation case: Judge fines Khan Rs500 over delayed reply

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Additional Session Judge on Tuesday has fined Rs500 to the Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  Imran Khan on late submission of his reply in the court, Dunya News reported.

As per details, Justice Mahrukh Aziz Tarar heard the case which was filed by Hanif Abbasi against PTI Chief.

The judge further adjourned the hearing of the case till April 4 by summoning both parties for arguments.

It may be pertinent to mention here that the former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA alleged Iman Khan of damaging his reputation by calling him as a ‘drug pusher’. Hanif Abbasi filed a defamation suit against PTI Chief and had demanded Rs1 billion as compensation.
