KARACHI (Dunya News) – The four-member team sent to Dubai to bring back key figure of Lyari gangwar Uzair Baloch return back on Tuesday with mission half-done.

A team was sent off to Dubai at least one and a half month ago to form a legal framework in Dubai for bringing back Baloch.

However, the team managed to complete legal documents with the Interpol and submitted those to the Dubai court. Meanwhile, two members of the team, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Usman Bajwa and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Zahid Hussain returned to the country.

The visas of other officers including SSP Naveed Khawaja expired upon which the Dubai authorities extended their visas for further stay until the matter is resolved.

According to the sources, the Interpol has informed the Dubai authorities that as many as two Pakistani citizens, wanted in money laundering case have also been arrested on the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) application.

The Dubai court has ensured the Pakistani team that Baloch and other two criminals would be handed over to them in April.
