LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday has rejected a plea urging stoppage of implementation of juveniles’ death punishments.

According to the details, Justice Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa held hearing of the petition. Petitioner’s counsel Ishtiaq Chaudhry maintained that the law does not allow punishing juveniles by death whereas the government is continuing the practice.

The court told the petitioner’s counsel that LHC cannot pass orders to the President of Pakistan. Justice Bajwa advised Chaudhry to declare the Law and Justice Division a party in the case and then submit amended plea.
