Summary The agreement proposes a summary trial to conclude the probe
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will himself dissolve the National Assembly (NA) and call for re-election if the rigging is proven, says the unverified copy of the agreement between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government obtained by Dunya News.
According to details, the agreement over formation of judicial commission consists of 6 pages and says that Prime Minister will himself dissolve the assemblies and move for a re-election across the country if the alleged rigging in election is proven.
The agreement further says that the investigation should be carried out through a summary trial instead of the 45-day probing cap.
The proposed ordinance has also been made part of the agreement. Both parties agreed in the accord that MI and ISI can be moved if the need be.
Earlier, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that Prime Minister will exchange views regarding the agreement during a meeting of parliamentary parties on Tuesday.
