JEDDAH (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Friday said government intends to form a weak Judicial Commission (JC)adding that they cannot go back to the assemblies until the formulation of JC.

He said all parties agree that elections were rigged. Both, Zardari and Sharifs, have joined hands and are reluctant in getting rigging and corruption investigated.

It is the quality of Sharif brothers and Zardari family is such that their assets soar while the nation gets poorer, he added.

PTI chairman criticized former Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry stating that none of the judges has disappointed enough but him.

Referring to overseas Pakistanis, he said the relations with the world community were deteriorating while the embassies do not facilitate our people advising that the government must facilitate them and give them their due rights.

Transparent elections, free media and independent judiciary are imperative to a truly functioning democracy, Khan emphasized.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is the smallest province and is accommodating more than 3 million refugees whereas the money in the wake of war on terror comes straight to the federal government. All the responsibility and pressure rests on KP government’s shoulders while the federal government provides no extra funding to the province.
