Summary Hussain urged the government to arrest Abdul Aziz in wake of case registered against him

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday has said that it is highly unlikely that angels would descend from the heavens to protect Pakistan and that the government should take strong decisions to put an end to religious hatred.

He expressed these views in a statement issued from London.

He urged the government to arrest the culprits who attacked the vigil at the Liberty Market in remembrance of the late governor Punjab Salman Taseer and punish them severely. Hussain also demanded the government to arrest Abdul Aziz of the Laal Masjid Islamabad in wake of the case registered against him.

Hussain said that the deliverance of hate speeches by the leaders of the banned outfits must be banned immediately. MQM chief urged the government to take strong decisions purely in the interest of the nation and the state.

Hussain said that the government should not forget that shutting eyes like a pigeon or sinking the beak in the sand like an ostrich could only make it an easy prey to its opponents and nothing else.
