ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday announced to continue supporting the government over terrorism and said that there is still deadlock over at least three points regarding judicial commission formation, Dunya News reported.
PTI core committee’s meeting took place at its chairman Imran Khan’s residence in Bani Gala Islamabad.
The committee said in its declaration that PTI is cooperating with the government under the present conditions of the country in every way possible and that it ended the sit-in protest in the best interest of the country.
The declaration said that PTI has also supported the formation of military courts for the interests of the country.
It further said that PTI is supporting the government against terrorism, adding that it is unfortunate that PTI members were booked for terrorism in the past.
PTI core committee said that it stands firm on its stance of independent probing of the alleged rigging in the general elections 2013.
It said that PTI exhibited every kind of flexibility during dialogue with the government.
The declaration asked the government to show flexibility to resolve the conflict, adding that PTI will not back off from its stance.
