Summary Both the leaders met to review security situation in Punjab
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Sunday has issued directives to Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif to utilise resources required to eliminate terrorism and efficient implementation of the national policy to counter-terrorism.
According to the details, both the leaders met in Jati Umrah and agreed in their meeting that the protection of the lives and properties of the people of the country is the government’s first priority.
The PM and the CM also reviewed the implementation strategy of the anti-terrorism plan in the entire country especially Punjab.
Furthermore, CM Shahbaz briefed the PM on the measures taken by the provincial committee regarding anti-terrorism. He also informed PM Nawaz regarding the security situation of the schools.
