Summary MQM fears irregularities in SPSC if power gets transferred to CM Sindh.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Friday submitted two adjournment motions in Assembly Secretariat against Pir Mazharul Haq’s statement regarding Hyderabad University being build and irregularities in Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC).

Applications were submitted by MQM members Sindh Assembly Rashid, Zubair Ahmad, Dilawar Qureshi and Irum Farooqi.

Talking to the media parliamentary leader Syed Sardar Ahmad of MQM said transferring powers to CM Sindh would escalate irregularities and corruption.

He said not only would they protest against transfer of power to CM but also instigate litigation.

Zubair Ahmad said it was unjust not to build university in Hyderabad; there should be a university in every district.

Former Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq in a statement had denounced the idea of a university in Hyderabad stating it as ‘unnecessary’.
