KARACHI (Dunya News) – Three suspects detained for unjust detention of 35 KP minor girls were granted bail by Judicial Magistrate Central Court on Friday.
According to details, police sought a one day remand of suspects for further interrogation but court has rejected the request by stating that there is no need of remand as girls have been recovered and that suspects have also been arrested.
Further, court ordered that Hameeda, Ayub and Imran should be released on the payment of Rs 1 lac surety bond and should be taken to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) office after the submission of surety bond.
Earlier, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Bajaur Agency Faiz Sher Pao along with others on Thursday has decided in a meeting that a case would be registered against the people who kept as many as 33 minor girls belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) in unjust detention.
It was decided in the meeting that the girls whose parents have not reached Karachi, would be handed over to the Bajaur AC.
While answering a question about arrests of the people responsible for the incident in Bajaur, he said that it has not been decided so far.
The meeting was held at the Commissioner House Karachi.
Provincial Minister Rubina Qaim Khani was also present in the meeting.
