ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government, on Friday, decided to take action against Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad in the wake of his provocative speech against the government at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally at Nankana Sahib on November 12.
According to the sources, Sheikh Rasheed’s arrest is expected in the next 72 hours whereas several departments including Ministry of Finance and Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) have served notices to AML chief.
Sheikh Rasheed had delivered an inflammatory speech against the government suggesting the nation to rise up against the government intending to create confrontation among the state institutions.
Government institutions also got hold of the speeches Sheikh Rasheed delivered in the past 3 months.
