LAHORE (Web Desk) – Authorities have obtained fingerprints from the suicide vest used in attack near Wagah border, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will locate the fingerprints in its record. DNA tests of the suicide bomber and families of those missing in Punjab will also be conducted.
On Sunday, At least 60 people were killed and more than 100 injured at the end of a popular flag-lowering ceremony when a suicide bomber set off his explosives at a security checkpoint outside the parade area, and about 500 metres from the Pakistan-India border.
Intelligence agencies today (Thursday) have raided possible hideouts belonging to banned outfits in different cities of Punjab including Sargodha, Wazirabad, Jhelum and Multan and arrested three suspects during the operation.
