LAHORE (Web Desk) – Gullu Butt has challenged anti-terrorism court`s (ATC) decision regarding his imprisonment in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday, Dunya News reported.

In the appeal filed by Advocate Kashif Zaidi, it was stated that the ATC had announced its verdict on contrary to the facts in the Model Town vandalism case.

The convict has requested the Lahore High Court to nullify the decision and order his release.

On October 30, Gullu Butt was sent to jail by an ATC for vandalising public vehicles and property outside the Minhajul Quran Secretariat during Pakistan Awami Tehreek worker`s clash with police in Model Town area of Lahore on June 17, 2014.
