ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In conversation with the media, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) deputy chairperson Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that we do not want to promote anarchy in the country and also want a solution to this political deadlock.
Qureshi said that we would not support any unconstitutional step and not let democracy derail at any cost. He added that there is no space for a third umpire, and the political deadlock is due to the demand for Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s resignation.
Deputy chairperson PTI stressed that they want to get out of this political stalemate but there was no option for playing the ‘minus 1 formula’ this time. He added that they were ready for electoral reforms, and this was the most they could do in such a situation.
