ISLAMABAD (Dunya News)—Interior Minister Chaudry Nisar Ali Khan presided Rawalpindi and Islamabad management conference today (Monday) in which the Supreme Court’s (SC) order of evacuating Constitutional Avenue was thoroughly reviewed.
Moreover, the options of returning back and providing an alternate place to the Azadi square and long march participants from red zone was also reviewed.
Interior Minister, while talking to the attendants of the conference, ensured that all the necessary measures would be taken to follow the SC orders.
Nisar directed the twin cities’ administration board that the government should be ready to cope with any emergency situation in pretext of the long marches and sit-ins by the protesting parties. He further briefed that negotiations with protesting leaders were underway and expressed hope for the solution of the prevailing political crisis of the country.
Chaudry Nisar, while giving commands of hiring more lady police, said that the writ of the government can only be established by hiring more police force in the department.
