ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervez Rasheed has said that Pakistan cannot be held hostage by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s agitation marches.
Pakistan Muslim League (N) Senator said that conspirators are trying to make Imran Khan a ‘political orphan’. He alleged that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri, Chaudhry brothers and Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed are trying to fool Imran Khan for their personal interests.
He advised Imran Khan not to lie. “We welcome criticism but Imran Khan should not reduce his political stature by lying about facts”, said the PML-N leader.
Pervez Rasheed said that Imran Khan did not raise any objections about Chief Election Commissioner, caretaker government, Returning Officers, Chief Secretary or Inspector General before May 11. “He started to raise objections on everyone after getting defeated”, said Pervez Rasheed.
Information Minister said that Imran Khan did not utter even a word against terrorism during his press conference.
