LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League (Q) leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has said that the struggle against the rulers has entered its decisive phase. He said that the real face of the rulers has been exposed before the public.
Talking to media at his residence in Lahore today (Friday) Former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the government will have to end now and the rulers will have to go back to their homes. He said that making a deal with the government at this stage of the movement will prove fatal.
“Sealing the cities and invoking Section 144 are proofs of government’s panic”, said Elahi. He said that these actions of the government have exposed their real faces. Ex Chief Minister Punjab said that those who exhibit so much love for democracy are dictators in disguise.
PML-Q leader said that calling Rangers, writing letters for suspending mobile service, sealing the cities and placing containers on roads prove that the government is in a state of panic. He said that undemocratic behaviour of the government has been exposed before the public.
On the other hand, President PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain termed the allegedly vengeful tactics as government’s defeat. He said that the government is sure to go and cheap tactics will not help it stay in power.
