Summary Prime Minister Nawaz chaired a high-level meeting to review country's security.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting on national security, Dunya News reported.
The meeting was attended by Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, DG ISI Lt General Zaheerul Islam and DG Military Operations Major General Amir Riaz.
The meeting review internal and external challenges, post-election situation in India and Afghanistan and country’s internal security.
On the occasion, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif also briefed the meeting regarding his recent visit to Kabul.
The Chief of Army Staff briefed the participants over Pak-Afghan border coordination, withdrawal of Nato troops and security of Afghanistan presidential elections’ second phase.
