PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – A suicide bomber was gunned down before he could attack the Shah Mansoor Police Line in Swabi, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
According to police, a suspect was spotted heading towards gate of Shah Mansoor Police Line. The suspect was asked to stop but he kept moving.
Police opened fire, killing the would-be suicide bomber on the spot.
The suspect was wearing a suicide vest, a policeman said.
On the other hand, some unknown miscreants hurled a cracker bomb inside a private school on Peshawar’s Dalazak Road.
Windows of the building were shattered due cracker blast however no loss of life was reported in the incident.
Police and bomb disposal squad reached the scene. Investigation is underway.
