ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to support efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan.
Talking to special representative of UN Secretary General for Afghanistan Jan Kubis in here on Monday‚ he said Pakistan attaches great importance to a stable‚ peaceful and united Afghanistan.
Sartaj Aziz reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for an inclusive Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace and reconciliation process.
He called upon the international community to help create conducive environment for the early return of Afghan refugees from Pakistan and their sustainable reintegration in Afghanistan.
Jan Kubis recognized Pakistan’s role in peace and stability in Afghanistan and the efforts underway to build a positive relationship with Afghanistan.
