ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that surgical strikes by the forces should be conducted only against those elements who caused damage to the armed forces and the civilians.
Talking to media outside Parliament House, The PTI chief said that talks should be held with those Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) groups that willing to negotiate and operation should be launched only against those involved in terrorism.
Imran khan said that the talks should be held in a serious way and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif himself should lead the negotiation process.
He said the US has been conduction operation in Afghanistan for last ten years but failed to achieve any result. Imran Khan said PTI has always been in favour of restoring peace through dialogue.
The PTI chief said the residents of conflict affected areas should be shifted to some other places if it is necessary to launch operation in those areas.
