Summary GC University Lahore has opened admission in BSc Electrical and MS Electrical Engineering.
The last date for submission of application forms is October 5, 2012.Eligibility criteria for BSc Electrical Engineering is Intermediate (Pre-Engg)/ Intermediate (Pre-Med) with Mathematics as an additional subject, GCSE A-Level or any foreign qualification equivalent to Intermediate (Pre-Engg), BSc (With Physics and Mathematics), DAE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/instruments Technology.In case of equivalent foreign qualification, equivalence certificate from IBCC is mandatory.In case of BSc (With Physics and Mathematics), candidate must have passed Intermediate with Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical subjects.A candidate will be considered for admission only if he/she has: at least 60% marks in intermediate (pre-engg) or equivalent, no third division throughout the academic career, appeared in combined entry test for engineering programs 2012 conducted by UET, Lahore.Eligibility criteria for MS Electrical Engineering is: A candidate should have one of the required qualifications for each specialization with at least 2.50 CGPA in semester system or 60% aggregate marks in annual system.For MS Electrical Engineering with specialization in Telecom Engineering, BSc Engineering/ BE Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecom Engineering, For MS Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electronic Engineering, BSc Engineering/ BE Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering.For MS Electrical Engineering with specialization in Control Engineering, Bsc Engineering/ BE Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics & Control Engineering.For MS Electrical Engineering with specialization in Computer Engineering: Bsc Engineering/ BE Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering.A candidate must have no third division throughout the academic career with at least 50% marks in GAT-General Conducted by NTS.Prospectus and admission forms for admission to BSc Electrical Engineering and MS Electrical Engineering are available at Askari Bank Limited, Urdu Bazar Branch Lahore from Sep24, 2012 onwards.
