ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Islamabad Bar Association (IBA) has announced a strike for tomorrow in protest against the ruling declaring the appointment of Justice Tariq Jahangiri null and void.
According to the strike notice, the Islamabad Bar Association believes in the rule of law and the dignity of the judiciary, and consistently opposes actions that violate the Constitution and law.
The notice stated that the association strongly condemns what it termed an illegal and unconstitutional decision, emphasizing that no case should be decided without fulfilling all legal requirements.
The Islamabad Bar Association announced that lawyers will boycott court proceedings as part of the strike against the unconstitutional ruling.
