A Saudi newspaper says the Afghan wife of an Al Qaeda leader killed in a drone strike in Pakistan two weeks ago is seeking to send their children to his family in Saudi Arabia.The London-based Al-Hayat says in a report from Riyadh that the wife of Osama al-Shihri contacted his family in the kingdom to inform them of his wish that the three children be raised by his mother.US officials described al-Shihri, also known as Abu Hafs al-Shahri, as Al Qaedas chief of operations in Pakistan. He was No 11 on Saudi Arabias list of 85 most wanted terror suspects.Al-Qaida has not confirmed the death of al-Shihri or that of Al Qaedas second in command, Atiyah Abd al-Rahman, who was killed by a CIA drone strike in August.
