In terms of popularity, former president Alejandro Toledo is in second place while Left-wing nationalist Ollanta Humala has also proven his popularity by keeping up with the favourites.Analysts predict that either Keiko Fujimori or Alejandro Toledo will be facing Ollanta Humala in the second phase of the election due in June. In the 2006 Peru presidential elections, Ollanta Humala won the first phase but faced defeat in the second phase of the elections.
