Summary Japanese scientists at the Fukushima nuclear plant failed to control the radioactive leak.

The Japanese scientists were unsuccessful when they tried to use different chemicals to seal a crack in the reactors which they had identified as a source of the radioactive water leak into the Pacific. According to the Japanese Nuclear Safety Agency, it will take several months to bring the countrys nuclear accident under control.
