Summary Prince Harry can expect to drag a 100kg sled through freezing temperatures of unaided 200 mile trek.

The journey is a venture by The Walking Wounded charity, of which Harry is a patron, which hopes to raise 2 million British pounds ($ 3.1 million) with the trek. The money will go towards helping injured servicemen and women find work and security. The Prince attended a briefing in Longyearbyen on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen, ahead of taking part in final preparations for the expedition, which will include sleeping out on the ice and getting up to speed on his ski training.Harry will join four wounded servicemen, all of whom were injured fighting in Afghanistan and the two co-founders charity for the first five days of the trek.
