Summary Fierce fighting on Libya's front-lines as opposition forces push towards Sirte.
The protesters were back on the road after suffering setbacks, when they were repelled by Gaddafi forces and forced to retreat to Bin Jawad. The fighters unit had been ambushed from high ground, and came under fire from small arms, light mortars and RPGs. But moving forward again, fighters fire small arms from behind dunes, and others fire artillery from the backs of pickup trucks as bullets zip overhead and shells land nearby. But again, the government onslaught is fierce, and the anti-government protesters must retreat and regroup before pushing west once more towards Gaddafis hometown of Sirte.
