Summary Rebel forces in Libya appeal to the world powers to declare a no fly zone over Ras Lanuf.
Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi offered amnesty to the rebels who will surrender their weapons. Keeping in view the worsening conditions in Libya, The United States is considering establishing a no fly zone on Libya. According to a UN sanctions proposal, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, nine members of his family and six other members of his inner circle will face international travel bans. Abdul Jalil Mustafa, chief of the National Libyan Council in Bin Ghazi, said that aerial attacks continue in Zawiyah, Ras Lanuf, Barqa and other eastern regions. According to Arab TV, Libya has ended diplomatic ties with France on recognising the rebels as Libyan citizens.After capturing the city of Ras Lanuf, the Libyan army has said that the rebels are regrouping in Barqa and Bin Ghazi.
