Summary Manchester United beat Arsenal to secure a place in the semi final of the FA Cup against Bolton.
Manchester United beat Arsenal 2-0 in the quarter-final of the FA Cup at the Old Trafford Stadium in London on Saturday. Fábio Silva of scored the first goal at the 28th minute of the first half to give Manchester United the lead. The in the second half and Wayne Rooney’s header gave united another goal in the 49th minute of the second half. In the second quarter final, between Bolton beat Birmingham 3-2 to move on to the semi finals. Chung-Yong Lee, Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander scored three goals for Bolton against two goals by Cameron Jerome and Kevin Phillips from Birmingham.
