Summary Pakistan will take on Zimbabwe in their penultimate group match on Monday.
The match will be played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and will start at 2 pm Pakistan Standard Time. Pakistan and Zimbabwe have played four World Cup matches against each other and Pakistan finished victorious on three occasions, while one match was ended in a draw. The green shirts have won 36 one day international battles against the same opposition and suffered defeat twice.Talking to media, Pakistani team manager Intikhab Alam said that the team was confident for victory over Zimbabwe. He said that Umar Akmal’s injury was not serious but his inclusion in the side would be decided later.
