Summary The tri-nations hockey tournament has been cancelled after India refused to visit Pakistan.
Pakistan Hockey Federation Secretary Asif Bajwa Wednesday said that India has refused to send its hockey team in Pakistan due to security concerns.Talking to media in Lahore, Bajwa said that after refusal from India, the tournament has been canclled.“Indian decision has disappointed us,” he added.He said that Pakistan had ensured strict security measures and support to India for the tour.Pakistan Hockey Federation had sent invitation to Malaysia and India for the tri-nations hockey tournament scheduled from April 9 to 13.
