Logan Couture scored the game-winning goal late in the second period and the San Jose Sharks skated past the Dallas Stars, 5-2, on Tuesday (April 3).Daniel Winnik, T.J. Galiardi, Ryane Clowe and Joe Thornton scored for the Sharks (41-29-10), who swept a home-and-home with the Stars after winning at home on Saturday. Antti Niemi posted 29 saves in the victory.With the win, the Sharks moved into seventh place in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Phoenix Coyotes, who play Columbus Blue Jackets later on Tuesday.Brenden Morrow and Alex Goligoski scored for the Stars (42-33-6), trail both San Jose and Phoenix for the final playoff spot. Kari Lehtonen allowed all four goals on 25 shots in the loss.
