Summary LHC Chief Justice scolded the TCP over not presenting record of sugar purchased from mills.
He said that time is out of joint when decision were taken in secret rooms.Chief Justice Shaikh Azmat started hearing of the case, the counsel for the petitioner said that Trading Corporation has purchased additional quantity of sugar from sugar mills. The price of sugar is likely to enhance with the passage of time.The court consulted the counsel for the TPC that how much sugar has been purchased.Instead of offering satisfactory stance, the said lawyer sought time for justification. At this, the Chief Justice said with anger that the court should be informed if the lawyer enjoys immunity.Court was adjourned till February 10.
