Multan Electric Power Company’s (MEPCO) needs 2400mw electricity for thirteen districts, however, most areas are facing 8 to 10 hours of power cuts due to 720mw shortfall.Worsening power crisis are directly affecting lives of domestic consumers, traders and industrialists.According to MEPCO officials, unscheduled power cuts are being carried out due to increasing electricity demand.
