Summary Fire at the Fesco transformer workshop destroyed equipment worth millions of rupees.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, scrap at the Wapda Engineering Workshop at the Canal Road caught fire due to short circuit, destroying scrap transformers and other equipment worth millions of rupees.The fire brigade brought the fire under control after a hectic effort in one hour. The Fesco authorities said that the fire was caused due to short circuit.
