Summary At least six labourers have died of electric shock in Nishter Colony, an area of Lahore.
The labourers were trying to shift a machine with the help of a crane when it ran into high-tension wires and the electric current killed the six workers on the spot while another 3 also received serious burns.The dead bodies have been shifted to the morgue whereas the injured are being treated in the emergency ward.Police have registered a case and arrested crane driver, while factory owner managed to escape from the scene.According to eye witnesses, the incident took place due to management’s negligence.
