Summary The strike of nurses in Multan for increase in pays entered fourth day on Saturday.
The Young Nurses Association took out a rally which started from Children’s Hospital and culminated at the main gate of Nishtar Hospital. Protestors were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans for their rights.Nurses from Nishtar Hospital, Civil Hospital, Institution of Cardiology and Children’s Hospital participated in the rally. They demanded that their salaries should be equalised with those of doctors.They warned that if their demands were not met, they would cordon off the DCO office and stop treating patients in emergency wards.
