Summary Fee being charged by Excise and Taxation department at the time of registration has been challenged.
The petitioner’s counsel, Azhar Saddique has filed a petition in the Lahore High court, stating that the Punjab Excise and Taxation department has been charging heavy fee for vehicles’ registration. The petitioner requested the court to declare it null and void.The petitioner has made parties Punjab government, DG Excise and taxation and other officers.
