A groom had to pass the night of Mehndi in jail after a brief argument with an SHO in Gujranwala.It was not until the day of the wedding that the youth got freed by court intervention to be able to lead the marriage procession to the bride’s house.As per details, Ata Mustafa, resident of Gujranwala, was going to Rahwali. His motorcycle accidently collided with that of Sub-Inspector of Ladhay Wala police station Iqbal Cheema.Both of them suffered minor injuries but the police lodged an FIR against the accused and sent him on judicial remand after medical examination of police officer.All along, the youth been telling the cops that it was his wedding the next day and that they need to consider this fact. However, as said before, never expect less.On the request of Mustafa’s father, duty magistrate Shafqat Shahbaz Raja, after listening to arguments from both sides, ordered release of the accused on bail.
