Police in Muzaffargarh allegedly tried to cut throat of an accused held by them Monday.According to details, Ghulam Abbas of Sanawaan area of Muzaffargarh was under police detention on charges of kidnapping a girl rom his village.The family members of the accused said that police tried to cut the throat of the accused with a sharp instrument during custody while, police claim that the accused tried to commit suicide.The accused has been shifted to Nishtar Hospital for treatment.On the other hand, DPO Muzaffargarh suspended two police official and ordered DSP Kot Adu to launch an inquiry into the incident.
