Summary Police recovered an infant nine days after he was kidnapped from National Institute of Child Health.
As per details, Rajib Ali’s wife gave birth to a baby boy on Nov 3 in NICH. But the infant was kidnapped from the ICU, after one day of his birth.According to SSP Naeem Sheikh, police conducted raid on Sunday on a house tracing the suspects by the help of CCTV footage and recovered the infant.He said that a trainee nurse and two other people involved in the case were also arrested. Nurse Sobia abducted the baby boy on Nov 4, a day after his birth, and sold to a couple for Rs 30,000, the SSP added.Parents of the baby appreciated police’s efforts and cooperation besides media for highlighting the issue.
