Summary Police arrested two members of a gang involved in selling childrens kidneys after kidnapping them.
According to police, accused Bashir Ahmad and Azam kidnapped 14-year-old Fayaz and took him to a private hospital in Rawalpindi for selling his kidney. On the complaint of Fayaz’s father, police chased the accused and recovered Fayaz.During the investigation, accused Azam of Rawalpindi confessed that the gang has close contacts with doctors in different hospitals of Lahore and Rawalpindi where they take the children after kidnapping them from different cities.The accused told during the investigation that Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh is charged for each kidney. Second accused Bashir belong to Manawan area of Lahore.
