Summary Miscreants blew up two towers of National Transmission & Dispatch Company (NTDC).
The blasts destroyed 220kv Guddu-Uch-Sibi double circuit transmission line midnight of Saturday and Sunday, suspending supply from these lines.QESCO spokesperson said that due to the suspension of electricity, shortage of power has increased to 1KMW as the 43 grid stations attached to network were affected. According to load management, twelve hours of loadshedding is being faced on a daily basis at almost all feeders of Quetta city whereas district headquarters and rural areas are getting electricity for only three hours a day.It is worth mentioning here that the electricity of two units from Habib Ullah Coastal power house has already been suspended for one and half month for annual repair.
