Summary At least two people were killed in rain-related incidents in Karachi.
A woman, Shamim, died as roof of her house collapsed in North Nazimabad. A little girl was also injured in the incident.An electricity wire fell after breaking from the pole in North Karachi Sector-II, leaving a man electrocuted.Many sign boards fell in various parts of the city due to rain and gusty wind. Few ceremonies of Independence Day celebration were cancelled due to rain but most of the ceremonies were going to be held according to schedule.
