Summary The dacoits fled from the scene despite the search operation launched by the police.
According to SP Allama Iqbal Town Muntazar Mehdi, information was received that some dacoits were robbing a house situated in Ravi Bloc of Iqbal Town after which four Mujahid Police officials reached the site.The dacoits present on the rooftop of the house opened fire on the police officials and fled from the scene after retaliation. No casualty occurred during the exchange of firing.Meanwhile, the higher police officials arrived at the scene and launched a grand operation after which two suspected persons were arrested.
