Summary Police raided two fake tea factories in Sanda area of Lahore and arrested two accused.
According to police, it was known that a man namely Mehboob was preparing tea with unhygienic products.The police raided and arrested accused Ahmad and Akram who were packing substandard tea in sacks. Tea of thousands of rupees was recovered from the possession of the accused.During the initial investigation, the accused disclosed that the tea was prepared by mixing paint in wastage of wood and then it was dried and handed over to Mehboob who used to sell it in Papar Mandi. The owner of the factory fled from the scene.According to police, the real owner of the factory would also be arrested soon.
