Summary Railway employees staged protest in different cities on non-payment of salaries.
A number of retired and serving employees gathered outside the Lahore Railways Headquarter and raised slogans against the government and management. They alleged that corrupt officers were the responsible of the crisis. They warned the management if their dues were not cleared within three days, they would lock the Railways Headquarter and halt the train service.The NA Standing Committee for Railways Chairman Ayaz Sadiq also attended the protest to show the solidity with the workers.
