Summary Loadshedding during scorching heat is making life difficult for the residents of Multan.
After shortfall of 775 MW announced by MEPCO, loadshedding has increased up to 10 to 12 hours in urban areas while 12 to 14 hours loadshedding continues in the rural areas, due to which routine life has been severely affected along with closure of business activities.According to MEPCO authorities, 2900 MW electricity is needed for the citizens while loadshedding increased due to 775 MW shortfall.According to PMD, Multan’s temperature is expected to remain 40 C with partially cloudy weather while rain is not expected.
